What would I be doing?
As a Business Development Manager, you'll…

  • Lead negotiations with existing and potential clients, build strong relationships through regular meetings, and maximise commercial opportunities.
  • You'll manage the complete sales process, monitor sales performance to optimize profit, and develop and deliver sales plans for profitable market share and gross margin growth.
  • Minimising stock levels, work in progress, and customer debtor days will be a priority.
  • You'll visit clients face-to-face to achieve this.
  • This role is ideal for anyone experienced in sales, business development.

 

What do they expect from me?

  • B2B sales experience in business development or senior sales role.
  • Preferably with prior success in the steel industry and seeking further growth.
  • Track record of profitable account management and development.
  • Proactive approach with quick relationship building skills.
  • Achievement of targets and KPIs.
  • Possession of a full UK driving license and ability to drive.

 

What qualifications and experience do I need?
These guys are seeking a candidate who has prior experience in sponsorship sales, delegate sales, or high-end B2B sales.
Ideally, the candidate should be degree qualified, ambitious, and driven, with a successful track record of selling to C-level executives.
