Business Development Manager | SaaS & Java Solutions
Up to £38K base with realistic OTE of £60K + first year (uncapped)
Hybrid working with home / office in Malvern 2-3 days per week
Who are these people?
This very well established, highly innovative global software firm develops niche software solutions that improve document change visibility streamlining processes where accuracy is absolutely critical, such as; government, banking aerospace and defense. They work with a range of SME’s and blue-chip companies including IBM, Microsoft, AMD.
What would I be doing there?
As the key business development manager, you’ll be the guy / gall responsible for generating new business globally over the phone and on occasions face to face. You’ll work alongside the technical director when you might need some techy type language support. You’ll also have the luxury of a small team who will help with lead generation and client support etc.
- Following up on inbound leads and enquiries
- Generating new business from scratch over the phone initially, and on occasions face to face
- Building long term business relationships at a high level with SME and blue-chip clients globally
- Managing a small team of sales peeps
So, where do, my talents fit into this?
Ideally, you’ll have come from a software solution sales role within the tech space.
- You’ll be a hunter who is not afraid of breaking down barriers to speak with the key decision maker
- You’ll be solution led with a consultative approach
- Preferably you will have worked in software sales previously
